Generate strong random passwords in bulk — choose length, character sets and how many. Cryptographically secure, offline, free.
| Input | Output |
|---|---|
| length 16, luds, 5 | 5 passwords like: kR7#mQ2@vX9pLw4Z |
| length 8, digits only (d), 3 | 3 numeric PINs |
| length 32, l+u+d, 1 | one 32-char passphrase |
Yes — they are generated with crypto.getRandomValues, the browser's cryptographically secure random source, which is the same class of randomness password managers use. Nothing is logged or sent anywhere.
For anything important, 16 characters or more from mixed sets. Length beats complexity: a 20-character lowercase password is stronger than a 10-character one with symbols.
They are visually ambiguous and cause login failures when a password is read out or typed from a note. Excluding lookalikes costs almost no entropy and saves real frustration.
Yes — a common pattern is 8–12 characters with lower+digits only (set the options to ld): readable, unique, and accepted by most username rules.
